Pixel Quest — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Juegabit, a brand operated by ITCSUY SRL ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Uruguay, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pixel Quest mobile game (the "Game"). By using the Game, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
The data controller is ITCSUY SRL (operating as Juegabit), Uruguay. For any privacy question or request, contact us at pablo.caviglia@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. What we collect depends on how you play:
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier | Only if you choose to Sign in with Google | To create and secure your account and sync your progress |
| Game progress and preferences (completed pictures, settings, in-game state) | While you play | To save your progress and restore it across sessions and devices |
| A randomly generated anonymous identifier | If you play as a guest (no sign-in) | To store progress locally/anonymously without identifying you |
| Basic technical data needed to operate the service (e.g. connection/request data) | When the app communicates with our backend | To deliver content, authenticate requests, and keep the service reliable and secure |
We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or device identifiers for advertising. The Game does not show third-party ads and we do not sell your personal data.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the Game and save and sync your progress.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Game.
- To respond to your support or privacy requests.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of: contract (to provide the Game you requested), consent (e.g. when you choose to sign in with Google), and our legitimate interests (to keep the service secure and working). You may withdraw consent at any time by signing out and/or requesting deletion.
5. Sign in with Google
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile (name, email, profile picture) with us in accordance with the permissions shown on Google's consent screen. We use this only to create your account and sync progress. We do not request access to any other Google data. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Service providers & data sharing
We share data only with providers that help us run the Game, under appropriate safeguards:
- Supabase — our backend and authentication provider, which hosts your account and game-progress data on our behalf.
- Google — identity provider for "Sign in with Google".
We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
7. International data transfers
Our providers may process and store data on servers located outside your country, including outside Uruguay and the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate legal safeguards.
8. Data retention
We keep account and progress data for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the Game. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting your account and data — email pablo.caviglia@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children's privacy
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls through our backend provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be announced in the Game.
